Twas the Night Before Christmas...

It's Christmas Eve and I'm sitting in my room blogging...This time last year I was anxious to wake up and see what was under the Christmas tree but this year, there are no presents that bear my name :-(... Now don't be mistaken; I'm all for giving instead of receiving it's just the excitement that comes along with opening up a gift. Anywho I'm still greatful for the season and I can't forget the REAL meaning of Christmas. I went to the mall this morning to do some last minute shopping. *NOTE* I would have gotten my shopping done already if it wasn't for a relative that I just happen to call my brother. Anywho I got up at 7:30 so that I could beat the crowd - which I did. But the whole stress of finding gifts and lugging around bags made me come to one conclusion: I'm not having any kids because I don't want to go out Christmas shopping for them...But that's beside the point. I got my parents some pretty decent gifts spending about 60 dollars each. Aren't I just the sweetest child :-)

So I have been home for a few days and I'm pretty much enjoying it. The best part is my mom's home cooking. I've enjoyed fried porkchops, macaroni and cheese, fried corn, mashed potatoes, collard greens and the list goes on. I've had a great time seeing all of my friends; it's funny though because there were several people who I hadn't seen since graduation and didn't bother me one bit. I didn't care to see them. I just dug deep to find a fake smile and a hug and say "OMG I haven't seen you since we graduated...I missed you." I thought I was a bad liar but the words just slipped out my mouth as if I were a professional at lying. Some people, I could have cared less to see. You definitely keep up with the people that were actually friends.

As the year is drawing to a close, I think I'm gonna start thinking about some things that I want to change like the pimples on my face...definitely gonna work on that.

This is really random but do u ever notice that nothing is really on tv on Christmas Eve. I watched Ratatouille and it was really cute. I recommend it for all who still possess that inner child.

Well according to the Santa tracker, Santa is in South America which means he's gonna be here pretty soon so I better get to sleep.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!
